An open letter to our customers,

Several of you have commented that you have noticed a new energy or a new vibe within Alignex. We've noticed it too. Several variables have come together that have made Alignex an exciting organization to be a part of.

1) Moving into our new facility has given everyone a fresh place to work with a little more room to grow. Dedicating the first floor to training and seminar rooms has relieved scheduling conflicts and allows us to host unique technology events more often.

2) Opening three additional offices around the Midwest has given us an opportunity to grow our business further and extend our capabilities to a broader market. Part of this expansion has meant there are a lot of new faces around Alignex with each one offering additional skills and perspectives to best serve our customers.

3) We've added many new employees within the past 12 months and each one is a very experienced SolidWorks professional that has fit into our organization nicely.

4) Most importantly, we are seeing a development in our industry that we have been prepared to meet for years. Companies that have previously invested in 3D engineering tools to design and manufacture their products are now looking for ways to achieve the next advancement in improved productivity, cost reduction, innovation and ways to out-pace their competition. That's our obsession.

If you've known Alignex for a while, you've recognized that we like to take a unique approach to presenting concepts and technology for improving product development. Some of you may remember our past events, like; "The Interactive Productivity Theater", "Pro/e vs. SolidWorks - Dispelling the Myth", "The R/C Mania Technology Symposium". To an extent, some of these events may have been a little ahead of their time - or at the very least, very progressive. Today, we believe manufacturers are searching for a company like Alignex - a technology consultant that is well rounded, extremely experienced and obsessed with reaching beyond 3D solid modeling to be more progressive.

In keeping with tradition, in the coming months we will be hosting several new series of events; "The Aftereffect", "LeanManage®" and an entirely new "Alignex-T". All of these events/technologies are focused on leveraging product information to make you more innovative, more progressive and more profitable.

Alignex has enjoyed several consecutive years of growth. We have achieved aggressive goals set by SolidWorks Corporation for the past four years, reaching "President's Club" each year. (See Below) At SolidWorks World 2008 in San Diego, Alignex received an award for the highest percentage of new and existing customers purchasing Subscription Service in North America. To us, that's a clear message that the way we support our customers is unmatched. (At least unmatched on this continent)

We would like to thank you, our customers, for your continued support.  Your business challenges drive our efforts every day.  We look forward to bringing you the solutions and experience you need to succeed in this ever-changing marketplace.

Sincerely,

The Alignex Team

In 2007, Alignex became one of three top value-added resellers (VAR’s) in North America to be awarded a membership into the SolidWorks Elite 190 Club by exceeding the highest standards for customer retention, subscription renewals, and software subscription sales for new licensees. Beyond this prestigious membership, Alignex was named the #1 reseller in North America for Subscription Sales.  “We hope the unprecedented percentage of subscription renewals shows that our customers value the level of support they receive from both Alignex and SolidWorks.”  said Mack Rasmussen, Director of technical Support.

Additionally, Alignex was awarded membership into the SolidWorks 2007 President’s Club for exceptional growth of license sales of SolidWorks 3D CAD and finite element analysis (COSMOS) software products sold throughout the upper Midwest region. This is the 4th consecutive year that Alignex has made President’s Club despite requirements exceeding 20% growth each year.
